Ed Johnson's musical career began at an early age, but his best memories are from playing at arenas in Europe, particularly in Spain during the 1970s. Ed is proficient in several instruments, including bass, drums, and, his primary instrument, guitar, where he has strived to be able to play every lick Jimi Hendrix ever produced.

In Make Me Shiver, Ed is using his musical background to provide the low end for the band. His bass playing relies heavily on his lead guitar background, which gives Make Me Shiver's sound a whole new dimension.
